Friday, 1st September 2006,
David Willis was invited to
attend another one of Kate
Peters' wonderful Showbiz
Celebrity Luncheons, this
time at Flames Restaurant in
Surfers Paradise.
David said it was a great
pleasure to chat with the
guest speaker,
John-Michael (Hollywood)
Howson
one of
Australia's entertainment
legends who started his
career as an actor on
television's "Magic Circle
Club" and "Adventure
Island". Most people
remember him for his
celebrity interviews on the
Mike Walsh Show.

an hour, John-Michael had
the audience of over 100
Australian celebrities and
Arts lovers enthralled,
recalling interviews with
over 1000 celebrities
including Bette Davis,
Charleton Heston, Nicole
Kidman and Barbra Streisand.
John-Michael Howson is
co-writer of the hit
Australian musical "Dusty"
about the life of 60s
singer, Dusty Springfield.
It was a brilliant show,
that played to packed houses
in theatres around
Australia.
